Telcoin Wallet Verification Guide

At Telcoin, we prioritize your safety and adhere to global AML/KYC guidelines. To access our services, you'll need to undergo the KYC Verification process. Here's how to get your Telcoin account verified and approved, ensuring a smooth experience:

Onboarding Tips

The Telcoin Compliance Team does a full review of the account information you supply before opening the account, if you input different details to your documents or make any errors then we will need to reset your application and you need to start our onboarding process again.

Please ensure you are careful when entering your details. Common issues we see:

  • Full name does not match that on the ID document. No nicknames.
  • Mistakes when entering date of birth.
  • Trying to use an out of date or expired document.
  • We need a full clear copy of your documents. We can not accept documents which are blurred or obscured. Keep your fingers out of the way!

Blurry Selfie Photos  - Make sure your face is clearly visible when taking a selfie for verification. We need a full clear picture of you. Smile!

 

Step 1: Confirming your country of residence and starting KYC

Initially you must select your country of residence. This should match both the issuing country of your documents as well as the country that your mobile number is associated with. This may not be the case in certain jurisdictions, however, such as the EU.

Step 2: Your Personal Information

Ensure the details you provide align accurately with your identification.

Step 3: Your Government Issued Identification

  • You must ensure the identification is valid and not expired.
  • Telcoin requires a government issued document such as a driver's license or passport. A National ID card is only accepted in certain regions and may not always result in a successful verification. Unfortunately we are unable to accept Paper ID documents.

Tips for Uploading Documents

  • Ensure all four corners of your ID are visible.
  • Turn off your flash to avoid any glare on the document.
  • Check if you have a strong internet connection, so the document can be uploaded.
  • We appreciate that it may take a few attempts, maybe try again at a later time.

Step 4: Liveness / Selfie Verification 

Liveliness of selfie reminders:

- Look straight to the camera and follow the instruction

- Take liveliness or selfie on a well lit room

- Do not wear eyeglass, cap or bonnet

Congratulations! Your account has been verified and approved!

 

Telcoin looks to open all accounts within 24 hours of receiving all the correct information. If there is an issue then you should hear from our support team within 48 hours of completing the KYC verification.
